While Ofte jeg drømmer mig død will most likely always be my favourite Afsky album (being one ov my favourite albums in general), Om hundrede år ticks all the boxes I hoped it would: the calm and simultaneously depressing folk elements are there; the wailing screams of a forlorn spirit, forced to eternally wander the woods (apt comparison, deadpunk!); the harsh, bitterly cold guitar riffs and the ultimate realisation of life, death and our inevitable undoing. Exactly what I want. Recommended!

The atmosphere of this album is fantastic. Makes you feel like you're knee-deep in the trenches drenched in mud, filth, sweat, and blood. Truly encapsulates the horrors of World War I, and the fact that the lyrics of some of the songs are taken from old war letters really adds to the authenticity. Favorite Track(s): Die Feuertaufe, Grabenlieder

Russian Atmospheric / Post-Black Metal. This is simply stunningly beautiful & I cannot get enough! The atmospheres created are just magic! Plus the changes in tempo & the additonal post-BM elements mean that this never gets boring for me. I could not possibly have a favourite song either... :) Highly recommended!
