pinkytheent Once again, Meslamtaea faithfully evoke their broader concept and their cover art, but this time with more jagged edges than I remember in the last release. I’m not a fan of skronky guitar sound, but the band tastefully uses skronkiness and dissonance to reinforce their message, and it fits into the picture alongside melancholy and beautiful melodic passages. Love the sound of the horn instruments and great drumming! Favorite track: Moegestreden.
